| 초록 | Attempts are being made to mix hydrogen into existing natural gas networks to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from industrial and residential end uses. In Korea, the government is also trying to contribute to 2.6% of its greenhouse gas reduction target by mixing 20% hydrogen into city gas pipeline. The effects of up to 40% hydrogen mixing were verified in a heavy-duty natural gas engine. The engine is designed for quadruple power generation in buildings and rooftop greenhouses, and is equipped with an Atkinson cycle and high compression ratio for high-efficiency operation. In this presentation, the feasibility of hydrogen mixing is evaluated without any hardware changes in the engine under stoichiometric combustion modes. The performance and emissions under lean combustion modes are also evaluated during wide open throttle operations. |
